LOVE & Marriage: KeKe Jabbar, a star in Huntsville, was found dead in her car by her husband Ameen.
A friend of the 42-year-old woman says she died of carbon monoxide poisoning after falling asleep in the garage of her Alabama home.
During a livestream on YouTube on Wednesday night, JoAnn Jenkins said KeKe did not kill himself.
“Keke did not kill herself or overdose.” Keke enjoyed life. “Keke wasn’t ready to give up on life,” she said.
“She wasn’t ready to leave her children, her husband, or her family.”
JoAnn said that the reality star would often get tired and “fall asleep anywhere.”
She said that KeKe chose to take a nap after her car had a problem.
“So, around seven in the morning, her husband goes to the garage,” JoAnn said.
“He sees Keke and thinks that she is sleeping in the car.” He tries to speak to her. He lets the car in. She’s not breathing.
“She tried to bring her husband back—her life partner and best friend—but he couldn’t. She was the mother of his children.”
“Keke died from being poisoned by carbon monoxide.” That’s it. That’s all,” the vlogger said in the end.
KeKe had three kids with security guard Ameen: two boys named Amraee and Ace and a girl named Aubree.
Blogger Marcella Speaks told people about KeKe’s death in a livestream on YouTube on Tuesday.
According to Marcella, the TV personality died “peacefully at home surrounded by love.”
She was a mom, a sister, and a great friend. She loved life and laughed a lot. “She will be missed very much,” she said.
“Please give us space and respect while we deal with our grief over this terrible loss!” LaTisha Moore Scott, who plays KeKe’s cousin on Love & Marriage: Huntsville, added on Instagram.
“This is hard for our family!!!!!”
During the months before she died, KeKe didn’t post anything on Instagram.
Her last post was a video of her and her son Ace at a Memorial Day weekend pool party.
“This is Ace, my little boy!” ‘Hey,’” As KeKe panned to Ace playing in the water with his goggles on, he said.
In another part of the video, she talked about start-up a line of swim wigs for Black women.
The mother of three was wearing a wig that she had made herself. She put her head under the water and then came back to show it off.
A fan also asked her how she was doing during the livestream.
KeKe said she was “really good,” but she also said that starting the new business was “overwhelming” and “too hard” at times.
