She ignored a sign that could have been cancer, and now a makeup artist who worked with celebrities and had a lot of followers on TikTok has died.
On Thursday, people in Romania, where Anca Molnar was born, lined the road and cheered as her coffin went by.
Romania’s Pro. TV said that they held up pink and purple umbrellas and threw white petals on a red carpet.
A brain tumor killed Molnar, who was 35 years old, on Tuesday morning.
Claudiu, her husband, said that she has given them and their son Patrick “the best years of our lives.”
In a sad post on social media before she died, Molnar said she had fought the disease “until the last drop of hope.”
She had built a loyal social media following in the European country for her work as a makeup artist for famous people from the area.
A close friend of Molnar’s said that she had done nothing about a string of headaches, which can be a sign of cancer.
It seemed like she was getting terrible headaches more often.
Alina Radi said, “At first, she didn’t think much of them because that’s how we are, but she found it hard to do her daily tasks consistently.”
Molnar is from Timisoara, which is in the western part of Romania. She only saw a doctor when the pain got really bad, Ms. Radi said.
The disease was found in her, but doctors in Romania said there wasn’t much they could do because the cancer had spread.
The Cancer Council of Australia says that headaches may be a sign of brain cancer before it gets too bad. Many people get headaches, so they are not always a sign of a disease, but the group says that if someone is worried, they should see a doctor.

Most Australians who have brain cancer are 59 years old. People who have brain cancer have different chances of getting better. The Cancer Council said that “a cure is likely” for benign tumors that can be taken out.
Reports say that Molnar then went to Turkey and had surgery on her brain as well as rounds of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
After the first surgery, the cancer did go into remission, but soon after, a second tumor was found, which meant she had to have surgery again.
Molnar wrote about her treatment on social media, posting pictures of herself in hospital gowns and with a bandage on her head.
Ms. Molnar recently talked about how much she appreciates her husband Claudia’s help.

An Instagram and TikTok post from Ms. Molnar on Tuesday, the day she died, showed a view from a plane above the clouds on a sunny day.

On Thursday, Molnar’s funeral took place, and her husband praised his wife.
