Seann In her spectacular blind audition for The Voice Australia, Miley Moore performed an incredible rendition of “The Prayer” by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
All four judges turned their chairs as the 30-year-old Filipino-Australian singer passionately sang the delicate initial verse and his voice soared at the classic chorus. The judges quickly realized Moore’s extraordinary potential and were competing to recruit him.
No vocalist should be afraid to attempt “The Prayer” since, really, no one can hold a candle to the likes of Celine Dion and the immortal Andrea Bocelli. However, Moore really came through for the song, delivering a vocal performance that showcased her raw power and her ability to master the complex dynamics of the tune. Moore, who arrived in a stunning white suit and exuded the laid-back charisma of an innate performer, also displayed a natural x factor. But, as he mentioned before the audition, things weren’t always sunshine and rainbows.
“I was subjected to severe bullying due to my brown skin and my exuberance,” he stated. My music was my refuge when I was a child. Performing live is one of my favorite things to do. Putting yourself out there in this way is risky, but courageous.
