“SEX and the City” star passed away

Eddie Driscoll killed himself after a long illness. He was a star on SEX and the City.

The 60-year-old actor was in a number of hit TV shows, such as CSI: Miami, The Last Ship, and Desperate Housewives.

Jimmy Palumbo, an actor, said that Driscoll died in Los Angeles on December 15.

The Hollywood Reporter says he died of a saddle pulmonary embolism after a battle with stomach cancer.

Driscoll, who was born in New York, played a character named Fendi Man in one episode of Sex and the City in 2000.

Besides that, he was in an episode of Mad Men in 2014 and a beloved drama called 24 in 2007.

However, Driscoll was best known for his role as Randall Croft in The Last Ship on TNT.

In 2016, he was in seven episodes of the show.

During his 40-year career, Driscoll also had a few small parts in movies. He was in the action thriller Cellular (2004), the comedy Boat Trip (2002), and the crime comedy Breaking In (1989) with Burt Reynolds.

Driscoll went to the University of Miami to study acting and did an apprenticeship at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film.

He even went to school with Reynolds and was in the thriller Physical Evidence with him in 1989.

In the comedy romance Boat Trip, which came out in 2002, he played a steward.

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Horatio Sanz, who used to be on Saturday Night Live, were also in Boat Trip.

He was a taxi driver in the eighth season of Desperate Housewives, which aired in 2012.

IMDB lists Driscoll’s roles in Entourage, L.A. Noire, Days of Our Lives, Outlaw, and This Is Us. He also played the loan shark Eddie Diamond in several Days of Our Lives episodes.
