14-Year-Old Boy

The tragic death of 14-year-old Knox MacEwen during a 5K race at Everglades High School in Florida has left the community in mourning. Despite prompt emergency response, MacEwen went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived, devastating his family, school, and wider community.

A student at Western High School in Davie, MacEwen was actively involved in Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) activities.
